What they say: 'This has been our plan for a while and he's going the right way'
Frank Berry, racing manager to JP McManus, owner of Filey Bay, Icare Allen, No Ordinary Joe and Petit Tonnerre
We're looking forward to Filey Bay's first run for us. Emmet Mullins is very happy with him and it's definitely an option for him. We haven't spoken to Willie Mullins on Icare Allen since the weights came out, so we'll have to see on him. Nicky Henderson is quite happy with No Ordinary Joe, and I'd imagine he'll run in it.
Harry Fry, trainer of Gin Coco, Metier and Might I
This has been the aim for Gin Coco since finishing second in the Greatwood. He ran great at Cheltenham when the topweight [I Like To Move It] put in a very good performance. We pulled miles clear of the third so that made it slightly frustrating, but the handicapper wasn't too harsh and put us up 4lb so hopefully we can still be competitive. Metier and Might I are due to run at Lingfield if it's on so we'll weigh it up after what happens.
Philip Hobbs, trainer of Monviel
We'd need a few to come out but I think they will so that's the plan, as it has been for a while. He won well at Ascot last time and he's gone up a lot [10lb] for that win but we hope he's a young horse going in the right direction.
