I've long been waiting for Noel Meade to run classy Flat handicapper Luke Short in a handicap hurdle, and Thursday's conditions should be ideal as he attempts to exploit an opening mark of 111.

Luke Short's best form on the level has all come on good going, including when registering his only two wins and finishing a cracking fifth in a €125,000 handicap on Irish Champions Weekend.
