Plenty of Jessica Harrington's runners have been improving from their opening runs of the season and that made Ace Aussie's extremely pleasing reappearance at Leopardstown last month all the more notable, leaving him the one to beat in the Listed Dick McCormick Irish EBF Tetrarch Stakes.

The manner in which the three-year-old by Australia came home strongly to finish within a length and a half of Qipco 2,000 Guineas hero Poetic Flare was very encouraging, and although some may have felt a step up to a mile or further would suit, a strongly run 7f should be ideal again.
