Indigo Balance beat one rival in the Coventry and again in the Phoenix Stakes but was a clear winner of his other two races at the Curragh. Last time he beat Gossamer Wings by the best part of two lengths when looking well suited by the drop to 5f for the first time.
Legends Of War ran a fine race in the 6f Gimcrack Stakes, in which he finished well for second. Seven winners of this race finished 5465267 in that York Group 2 since 1996 and his connections obviously feel – as it looked – a drop to 5f will suit.
