There is a lack of strength in depth in maiden hurdles and bumpers at the moment, which can be put down to the lack of soft ground, and that does not really look like changing anytime soon.

However, this mare ran a nice race in an admittedly ordinary maiden hurdle when an unconsidered 66-1 shot at Fairyhouse and should be followed.
