>>Lough Kent (8-1) was matched at the maximum 1,000 in running on Betfair on his way to an unlikely victory in the finale at Cartmel, foiling an on-course gamble on stablemate Fiosrach.

The runner-up went off at 7-2, having touched as big as 6-1, and was matched at 1.01 for £79 when well clear on the run-in.
