Likely market leader has a question to answer on turf

Credit: Alan Crowhurst

Daafr
2.25 Newmarket
SP forecast 9-4

Form figures of 12 on artificial surfaces and produced best run by miles last time when beaten by a short head in a handicap at Kempton. Back to turf off 8lb higher and form figures of 75 – with best RPR 19lb lower than at Kempton – need improving upon. Trainer goes for cheekpieces but strike-rate of 12.5 per cent with them since 2016 is nothing special.

Conclusion This is competitive and I'm not convinced.
