Cool Mix can take a tug, which isn't ideal going up in trip, but he is bred for it and is otherwise interesting returning to a track where he has run a career best in a bumper and over hurdles.

He finished second in a good bumper for the course at this meeting last year - the fourth, fifth and sixth are rated 145, 132 and 137 over hurdles - and was again second over hurdles here in December.
