Kite can go well again, but don't ignore Easterby's Word
Day two of York's Ebor Festival begins with a 20-runner juvenile sales event, but these sorts of races rarely make much appeal, and I'm happy to just watch the exciting Fair Eva in following Group 2 Lowther.
However, the third race on the card, the Clipper Logistics Stakes (3.05), is a proper punting race and I’m keen to get stuck into both Chil The Kite and One Word More, who ran first and fifth in this 12 months ago.
With One Word More it's a simple enough case - while his strike-rate is just a modest 3-29, he's on a handy enough mark, likes York and comes into this in better form than his latest run suggests.
