King can unleash another star at Ascot
The Sky Bet Supreme Trial Novices' Hurdle (1.55) at Ascot rarely attracts a big field, but it routinely features some very decent performers and that is almost certainly the case on Friday afternoon.
Alan King won this with 1-3 chance Yanworth last year, while the season before Nicky Henderson's L'Ami Serge was even money when slamming Killultagh Vic by seven lengths.
Both trainers, who have won four of the last six runnings between them, are unsurprisingly well represented, although slightly less anticipated to these eyes was the opening show of just 7-4 about Henderson's Lough Derg Spirit in what looks a really competitive heat.
