Since the inaugural running in 2003, five fillies won this race on their seasonal return. The cut-off for penalties is August 31, so Highgarden's Group 3 win at Newmarket in September incurs the additional 3lb. She was often given attacking rides last year, but more patient tactics suited her at Newmarket.
Dance Legend is chasing black type. She reappeared to win a handicap in style at Lingfield and, while she is miles behind many of these on ratings, she is progressive and loves testing conditions. If each-way terms prevail she could be in with a shout, especially given Rae Guest's terrific record with fillies.
