Ballymore Novices' Hurdle(1.30 Cheltenham)

The unbeaten Samcro(154) already boasts a rating in excess of an average winner of the day two opener and should take a lot of beating.

He is already a Grade 1 winner over hurdles, and the form of that comfortable beating of the reopposing Duc Des Genievres (146) was given a nice boost when the third home, Paloma Blue, finished a creditable fourth in yesterday's opener. There should be no problems as regards trip and ground and he gets a confident vote.
