Hobbs: I don't envisage quick ground being a problem for Defi
Philip Hobbs, trainer of Defi Du Seuil
It was always the plan not to run him again after last Saturday's race at Cheltenham and he has come out of that win in good shape. He has plenty of experience after winning five for us now and hopefully he's still improving. We know he goes on the soft, but quick ground at the festival would be an unknown for him. I don't envisage it being a problem.
Nicky Henderson, trainer of Charli Parcs, Divin Bere, Domperignon Du Lys, Percy Street and Soldier In Action
Charli Parcs is in good shape and was very good at Kempton. I'm not really worried about him on soft ground. He'll be going to either Musselburgh or the Adonis. Divin Bere and Domperignon Du Lys have their ratings and it's a question of whether they are Fred Winter or Triumph horses. Divin Bere was very good at Huntingdon and I think there's improvement to come from him. Domperignon will probably run next week, as I see it he's on a Fred Winter mark and we're more likely to go down that road. Percy Street won well the other day, he's got to run again and we'd like to see where he is. Soldier In Action could possibly run this weekend.
Willie Mullins, trainer of Bapaume, Dainty Mag, Meri Devie and Orion D'Aubrelle
The Triumph is the plan for Bapaume and Meri Devie. One or both of them might go back to Leopardstown, where they both won at Christmas, for the Grade 1 juvenile hurdle on Sunday week.
