This lightly raced colt was disappointing on his debut but has yet to run a bad race in six subsequent starts and recorded his second success when landing a 1m2f handicap at Brighton in May off 8lb lower than today.
Roger Charlton’s three-year-old has proved this sort of mark isn’t beyond him on his last two starts. A good second at Goodwood in June, he followed that with another close call in a 1m2f Sandown handicap last time when he was beaten only a head in second by winner Goodwood Mirage. That form was franked when the well-held fourth Compton Mill was second at Sandown on Thursday.
