Captain Guinness is in the mix for the Supreme. The plan is to go straight to Cheltenham with him.

He was second in the Grade 2 Aintree bumper after being pulled up in the Champion Bumper the previous year. He was like a kid in a sweet shop – he ran very freely for the best part of a mile and a half but still finished second. The Supreme was always the target following that. He won some novice hurdles through the summer to get his confidence up and won a Listed hurdle at Haydock.
