This gelding has shown enough since entering handicap company three starts ago to suggest he has a modest race of this nature within his capabilities.

He wasn't beaten far in a decent contest at Nottingham in May before finishing third behind a couple of improvers at Ripon last month. Eighteen days ago at Hamilton he had plenty of use made of him early on in order to gain a prominent position and did well to stick on for third.
