A single-figure draw has won the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bold Lad Sprint Handicap on day two of Irish Champions Weekend at the Curragh for five of the last six years, and that trend can continue with Rough Diamond, who comes out of stall three.
Eddie Lynam, who won the race in 2018 with Soffia, has made no secret of the fact Rough Diamond has been a slow learner, but there were encouraging signs last time at Dundalk. He did some nice late work there and the ground has come right for him following lots of midweek rain.
