Hard to oppose useful hurdler off reduced Flat mark

Still a maiden after five starts on the Flat last year, but ran well on both runs in staying handicaps and has improved over hurdles since. Alan King's gelding won a heavy ground novice event at Sandown and finished seventh in the Triumph Hurdle last time. He looks well treated off just 73 on the Flat on suitable ground.
