Graeme Rodway's banker at Newmarket on Friday
Has already beaten the hot favourite for this race, Sacred, on two occasions this season and looks a good bet to do so again.
Pogo ran a huge race at York last time when he was beaten only by the top-class Kinross, who has since won a Group 2 and a Group 1.
He pulled clear of the remainder of the field and among them were Art Power, Sacred herself, and Rohaan. They have won two Group 3s and a Listed race between them subsequently.
The selection has a superb record at Newmarket and finished second in this race two years ago. He is an improved performer and is fancied to go one better, especially if the ground stays good or faster.
