Nap
Dandridge 5.30

Finished a close second in this race a year ago. Also won at Doncaster and finished second in Red Rum Chase at Aintree. Good ground appears to be key, so big chance he can improve on what he has shown this season. Can give Arthur Moore a third Grand Annual Chase win following Fadoudal Du Cochet (2002) and Tiger Cry (2008).

Strong chance
Sizing John 3.30
Achieved first Grade 1 win over fences when landing the Stan James Irish Gold Cup last month when tackling three miles for the first time. Better ground expected to suit and can become the first Irish Gold Cup winner to land the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup in the same year since Imperial Call completed the double 21 years ago.

Under the radar
Ivanovich Gorbatov 2.10
Won the Triumph Hurdle on the same card a year ago, beating the high-class multiple Grade 1 winner Apple’s Jade. Has made little impact in Grade 1 company this season but interesting
here in his first handicap. Will appreciate the return to good ground and will have capable 5lb claimer JJ Slevin on board.
