Francin would not have looked out of place at Cheltenham and should be difficult to beat in what appears a good opportunity for him to notch his second jumps victory in the 2m6½f novice hurdle.

Third in what has turned out to be a good 2m4½f maiden hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas, Francin showed sufficient progress to run out a relatively straightforward winner back in trip at this track last month.
