Favourite looks solid but doesn't have loads in hand in ordinary year

Capri rates a solid St Leger favourite on form, with his Racing Post Rating of 119 achieved through his Irish Derby victory on a par with the levels achieved by most recent St Leger winners.

In what would appear a pretty ordinary contest judged on RPRs at this stage, a reproduction of his success at the Curragh may well suffice, but he doesn't have loads in hand of his rivals.

Of those at bigger prices Khalidi looks interesting. John Gosden's St Leger record demands respect and this colt shaped like he'd appreciate further when a strong-finishing runner-up to Permian in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
