Handicappers' nap
True Self (2.25 Haydock)
Fairly decent winning hurdler who taken form to a new level on the Flat, winning three Listed races. Has been found the perfect opportunity to win her first Group race.

Newmarket nap
Swift Wing (5.25 Chelmsford, nap)
Ran a decent third on his debut at Ascot last month and has since worked nicely on the Al Bahathri for John Gosden.
David Milnes
Eyecatcher
Kodi King (4.45 Haydock)
Didn't show a great deal on his first two starts, but that didn't stop his supporters piling on the money shortly before the off. He was rather isolated from his lowest stall, but had his chance before crying enough over a furlong out. This was better and he should be able to make his mark in handicaps.
David Toft

Irish angle
Kiss For A Jewel (4.35 Navan)
Runner-up on both her starts, more recently on quick ground at Naas last month, the Dermot Weld-trained filly steps up from a mile to 1m2f. By Kingman and out of Group-race winner Sapphire, she handled easy ground well when a close second at Galway on her only outing last season.
Tony O'Hehir
Speed figures
Safe Voyage (3.35 Haydock)
Unbeaten in three starts over course and distance and with the ground in his favour can maintain his love affair with the track.
Dave Edwards
Spotlight nap
Air Of York (8.00 Chepstow)
Popped up at 66-1 at Salisbury on his return last month and similar form when placed at the same track a fortnight ago; has a course-and-distance win on his CV and looks set for another good effort.
Richard Austen

Dark horse
Tropics (4.15 Chelmsford)
This admirable 11-year-old won the race last year and must be respected off 3lb higher. This multiple course-and-distance winner ran well over 6f last time out and looks sure to go well back down to 5f.
Sam King
Must-have stat of the day
Sir Michael Stoute was won with his last four runners in three-year-old handicaps at Haydock, with the winners going in at 6-1, 4-1, 7-4 and 9-4. Alhaazm fits the criteria in the 1.45.
