Newmarket: David Milnes

Kahina (5.25 Yarmouth, nap)

Hugo Palmer has his team in great shape and this filly has been working above her handicap mark of 56 on the watered gallop of late.

North: Colin Russell

Kingdom Brunel (7.40 Newcastle, nap)

Plenty of promise to be gleaned from his three placed runs in novice company last season, with the last two over course and distance. Has since had a wind operation and, as he begins life in handicaps on a fair mark, he should break his duck this time.

Others to follow
Brighton 2.25 Rose Of Kildare, 2.55 Autumn Pride, 3.25 Double Reflection
Chelmsford 5.15 Foxrush Take Time, 5.45 Clement, 6.20 Astrologer
Newcastle 4.45 Ingleby Angel, 5.20 Chosen World, 5.55 Pendleton, 6.30 Bahkit, 8.15 Scots Sonnet
Nottingham 1.30 Internationalangel, 2.35 Deebee, 3.05 Arctic Fox, 3.35 Queen Penn, 4.05 Eesha's Smile, 4.35 Flower Power, 5.10 Tenax
Yarmouth 2.15 Make On Madam, 2.45 Don't Joke, 3.15 Rochester House, 4.15 Lake Volta, 5.25 Laura Louise

Lambourn: James Burn

Champagne Platinum (4.20 Punchestown)

Well-regarded gelding has impressed in two starts in minor company, but missed Britain's spring festivals after a setback. It was thought he would have been effective, however, so can make an impact here.

West Country: Tim Mitchell

Champagne Champ (4.35 Nottingham, nap)

In good form over hurdles of late and reckoned to be on a very handy mark now returning to the Flat. Bold bid expected with Oisin Murphy booked.

Others to follow
Brighton
4.25 Bbob Alula

Racing Post Ratings: Simon Turner

Take It Down Under (2.15 Yarmouth)

Left previous form well behind when routing a modest field over course and distance last week. Should be hard to beat if in the same form.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Existential (3.35 Nottingham)

Clocked a standout time when romping home over course and distance in August and, although below par twice since, looks worth another chance.

Longshot: Sam Hardy

Champagne Platinum (4.20 Punchestown)

Nicky Henderson's gelding missed the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals due to a minor injury and could benefit by being fresher than most in the race.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Front View (7.15 Punchestown)

No match for the smart Blue Sari when second on debut at Gowran Park in January, the Joseph O'Brien-trained four-year-old was travelling well when brought down on the final bend at Naas on his second start and certainly deserves another chance here. He gets the vote to score under Derek O'Connor.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

Sir Michael Stoute is 5-13 in three-year-old handicaps at Nottingham since the start of 2015, which equates to +£14.12 off £1 stakes. He has two in that race type today, with King's Girl at 3.05 and Arctic Ocean in the 4.05.
