The Warren Greatrex-trained hurdler looked ripe for picking off as he was the only one of the four working hard turning for home and hit a high of 12 on Betfair. But he gallantly kept finding in front to defeat Chandos Belle (1.48), Hermana (2.12) and odds-on favourite Phoeniciana (1.53).
