Sweetspots: expect Tiger to tough it out again at Musselburgh
Alan Bailey has a decent 44 per cent strike-rate with his runners at Newcastle and Widnes (3.25) will look to enhance this record. His last couple of runs were disappointing but he is back down to his last winning mark and should be thereabouts on his return after a break.
Gabrial The Tiger (6.30 Musselburgh) will look to make it five wins from six starts at the track. Despite being 5lb higher in the weights than his previous win at the course two starts back, he is still well
handicapped on old form and Connor Murtagh’s 5lb claim will come in handy.
After 13 months off, Mutarabby (7.45) returns at Kempton for Saeed Bin Suroor and Dane O’Neill, who have a 44 per cent record when teaming up at the track. The lightly raced four-year-old has been gelded since his last run and has never been out the first three in his six runs.
