Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back tonight based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, a top trainer-jockey combo.

Trainer form

Battle Of Issus
8.50 Nottingham
Angle: Trainer David Menuisier boasts a 60 per cent strike-rate in the last two weeks

Battle Of Issus started David Menuisier's remarkable run of six winners from his last ten runners when a decisive winner at Hamilton. The form was boosted when runner-up Auxiliary won at York on Friday and with Silvestre de Sousa on board again in the 1m6f handicap, the four-year-old looks the one to beat.

Ratings

Kildorrery
7.30 Kilbeggan
Angle: Joint top-rated with a Racing Post Rating of 150

Reverting to hurdles after unseating his rider over fences last time, Kildorrery is on a handy mark relative to his chase rating in this 2m handicap hurdle. He won a maiden hurdle at the course last September and should make his presence felt with champion jockey Paul Townend in the saddle.

Wild card

Passing Nod
6.10 Windsor
Angle: James Doyle has a 30 per cent strike-rate when riding for William Haggas at Windsor

James Doyle and William Haggas will be teaming up at Royal Ascot later in the week – most notably with Sea Of Class in the Prince of Wales's Stakes – but before that they have a number of good chances at Windsor.

Passing Nod, the first of Haggas' runners, hails from a good family as a close relative to five-time winner Auspicion and looks an interesting newcomer in the 5f novice contest.
