Enable sets out on the road to what will hopefully be an historic third Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in 2019, but if ever there is a time to oppose John Gosden’s star mare it is surely first time up in the Coral-Eclipse (3.35) at Sandown.

This has never been a great race for fillies or mares, with the last successful one being Kooyonga in 1992, but far more worrying than that is the 1m2f trip.
