>>Duchess Of Fife was matched for £35 at the maximum 1,000 in running on Betfair on her way to springing a 16-1 surprise in the mile handicap at Leicester.

The winner had to be ridden from the off and was given early reminders. She looked beaten when dropping from second to second- last halfway up the straight, but kept finding for pressure and responded well to deny Fastar, who had been matched 1.11, by a short-head.
