Amore Alato bypassed the big handicap at Ascot last week and is reunited with Richard Johnson, who was on board when the combination ran out comfortable winners receiving weight from three higher-rated rivals at Sandown early last month. More is needed in an unusually competitive Grade 1, but as a second-season chaser he is ready for the hustle and bustle.
