Dettori strikes a blow for the layers on Lancelot Du Lac

>>Lancelot Du Lac touched a high of 48 in running on Betfair on his way to a surprise 25-1 victory in the Qatar Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood for Frankie Dettori.
It was only the ninth time since the start of 2006 that Dettori has ridden for winning trainer Dean Ivory and this was their second victory in that time.
The midweek gamble on Growl briefly looked set to be landed when he loomed up going well, but the 7-1 chance faded to fourth after trading at 1.42.
