David Baxter with his best two-year-old bet at Lingfield on Monday
Red Carpet Queen
4.15 Lingfield
1pt win
George Scott is yet to have a winner since racing resumed but his runners have been shaping promisingly, including his sole juvenile runner last week, Bungledupinblue.
The filly was a good third at Newmarket, which is hopefully an indicator his string are in good form, and Red Carpet Queen can create a similarly good impression on debut.
She has the widest draw in stall nine, which is a negative, but has a very speedy pedigree and can hopefully negate that early on. The booking of James Doyle also catches the eye as he has a 50 per cent strike-rate for Scott on two-year-olds (two from four).
