1pt win at 8-1 generallyWhen he won a Premier handicap at this course in the summer of 2015 George Bowen looked a sprinter going places and he followed that by going down by a head in the Ary Silver Cup.

Unfortunately he went the wrong way afterwards, but there were signs last year he was on the way back and, following a third at Epsom on Derby day, he bolted up at Nottingham by four and a half lengths.

The handicapper has had his say, putting him up 11lb, which makes him only 3lb lower than the peak rating he earned for his Ayr second, but there's every chance he can go on to fulfil the promise he showed as a three-year-old.
