At this time last year, Blakeney Point stayed on nicely to be fifth in the Ebor off a 6lb higher mark. On that evidence he is likely to appreciate the step up to 2m in the Sky Bet Handicap at York (4.15) and he looked to be running back into top form at Newmarket last time.

He stayed on well to be fourth in a competitive race on that occasion and with his stable in top form, Blakeney Point looks much too big a price.
