Chelmsford Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway has a small perm for the evening fixture

Some of my best bets come in the evening at Chelmsford so let's play the Placepot there.

Cuban Breeze makes plenty of appeal on the all-weather in the opening 5f handicap (5.00). It's a wide-open race, though, and Hyde Park Barracks also goes in.

The 5f maiden (5.30) isn't an easy one, but Turna is consistent and sets a decent standard judged on Racing Post Ratings. It might be worth making her the first banker of the night.

Jane Chapple-Hyam must still be on a high after Saffron Beach's success at Newmarket on Saturday and the Group 1-winning trainer can land the 6f handicap (6.00) with Lion Ring.

There's not a lot of form to go on in the 7f novice (6.30), but William Buick is an eyecatching booking for George Boughey on Two Door Saloon. Flora Finch could be the best alternative.

There's no need to look past the bet of the night, Legende D'Art, in the 7f handicap (7.00) and in the last leg (7.30), Boy George has recent figures of 2222. His consistency could be key.
