Brighton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway has a pair of bankers in his 16-line perm

Brighton might have the best of the ground, so let's concentrate on its card for the Placepot.

The opening 5½f maiden (1.45) is a good opportunity for a banker, so stick with Super Cub, who made a promising debut at Salisbury.

Typhoon Ten is a standout candidate on ability in the 6f handicap (2.20), but he has the weight to go with it and is unproven at the track, so it's also worth including Mamillius as a back-up.

Rosa Gold ran well when fourth in a Class 3 at Nottingham last time and is a big player down in grade in the mile handicap (2.50). The Mark Johnston-trained Asdaa should also run well.

Division one of the 1m2f handicap (3.25) could go to Contingency Fee, who has been in good form on the all-weather and is a dual course-and-distance winner who loves it here.

Dawn View won over a mile at the course last time and is of interest in division two (3.55) but the trip is an unknown, so it may also be worth taking a chance on The Lords Walk.

Cherry Cola was a good second at Yarmouth last week and should handle a drop in trip in the 1m4f handicap (4.30). It's a wide-open race, though, and course form points to Ivaquestion.
