This exuberant front-runner, who had made all at Sandown on his previous chase start, set a strong pace under a positive ride in this 2m1f handicap chase and produced a number of bold leaps. He routinely jumped left so may prove to be more effective racing anti-clockwise in the future. This was just his third run over fences, and should he settle better as he gains more chasing experience he will win more races this season.
