Ascot Gold Cup

Aidan O’Brien, trainer of Order Of St George and Idaho
The plan is for Order Of St George to go to the Saval Beg, then to Ascot. He won nicely at Navan and it's a case of so far, so good. Idaho won well at Chester. The plan was to run there, then head to Epsom for the Coronation Cup. That still is the plan, but Ryan [Moore] said he could go further. Seamie [Heffernan], when he rode him in the St Leger, said he was going very easy, so it seems to make sense he wants further. I'd imagine just one of Cliffs Of Moher or Idaho would run in the Coronation, so we'll have to decide on that. It will be interesting.

John Gosden, trainer of Stradivarius
He's had a good spring and the plan has always been to start him off in the Yorkshire Cup on Friday, where I see Mr Mullins is sending over a good one. After that he'll head for the Gold Cup. He likes Ascot and is also quite versatile as regards ground.
