Best Of Times and Penglai Pavilion can continue Godolphin's great handicap run

Goldolphin have enjoyed a superb run in the best handicaps this season, winning the Lincoln, Victoria Cup, Hunt Cup and last week the Northumberland Plate. Today they appear to have good chances in the two valuable handicaps, starting with Best Of Times in the Coral Challenge at Sandown (2.35).

Best Of Times has always been extremely highly regarded by connections and still holds entries in all the best Group 1s later this season. His form does not yet suggest he’s as good as many think, but he couldn’t have shaped with any more promise in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot last time when cantering through the race before failing to get home over 1m2f.1pt win at 6-1 with Ladbrokes (11-2 Betfred)
