Beaver foils big gamble on Hereawi

>>A huge gamble on Hereawi was foiled when the 4-9 market leader, who had been available at 2-1 before three non-runners, couldn’t get to Eager Beaver in the fillies’ handicap at Salisbury.

The 6-1 winner touched a high of 60 in running on Betfair when he was taken to race with Graceland on the far side of the track and Hereawi was backed to 1.19 when heading to the seemingly favoured stands’ rail.

That proved the wrong move, however, as the pair on the far side filled the first two places.
