On the face of it it looks as though Commodus has had enough opportunities to get her head in front but she has finally got a chance to shine over 6f in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Nursery Handicap (6.00) and that could prove to be her optimum trip.

Her close-up third in a 7f Leopardstown nursery late last month is rock-solid form in the context of a moderate contest like this, especially since she was running from 6lb out of the handicap. Had she secured a clear passage there she might well have won.
