Bloodstock Postcast: Royal Ascot Review | Industry Update
Racing Post Bloodstock's Martin Stevens and James Thomas return for an in-depth review of the pedigrees represented at this year's Royal Ascot and give us an industry update.
On the show:
- There were plenty of winners and well-placed runners represented by top sires and dams at Royal Ascot. The team look at who impressed most and whether they expected some of the pedigrees that produced group company winners.
- Blue Point has been retired to stud after winning both the King's Stand and the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot last week. The team give their opinions on the decision and expect a very high stud fee.
- The team also look at who could go to stud after Royal Ascot and why Gold Cup winner Stradivarius will most likely stay in training and not go to stud anytime soon.
