We recently paid a visit to Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket to check in on Darley's two new British-based stallions for 2020, Too Darn Hot and Masar.

Too Darn Hot, champion two-year-old of 2018 and a dual Group 1-winner this season, joins his outstanding sire Dubawi on the roster and has been assigned an opening fee of £50,000.

Derby hero Masar, a descendant of the great Urban Sea, will also stand alongside his sire, in his case New Approach, and has been introduced to breeders at £15,000.

Darley's director of stallions Sam Bullard told us about how the new boys had settled into Dalham Hall Stud and spoke more about their credentials - their racecourse performances, physiques and pedigrees - and came up with one or two surprising facts.
