A new boutique sale will be held at Yorton Stud on September 12 in partnership with Goffs UK.

David Futter’s Powys-based operation will consign 30 to 40 National Hunt youngsters, mainly yearlings and two-year-olds. The doors will open on September 11 for viewings, with the Goffs UK Yorton Sale itself held in the round yard the following day.

Goffs UK will not be accepting outside entries and further details are expected to be released soon.

"We have been very keen to hold a sale of this nature for some time and are delighted Goffs UK have partnered with us," said Futter.

"We will be offering home-bred and hand-picked progeny by leading and young up-and-coming National Hunt sires. The sale will be a wonderful opportunity to open our doors and showcase the stud, which the property owners, James and Jean Potter, have been extensively and sensitively restoring over a number of years."

Goffs UK managing director Tony Williams added: "We are thrilled that Yorton Stud have partnered with Goffs UK to help promote and run this exciting new sale and we would like to extend our thanks to David Futter and the team at Yorton for choosing us. Goffs are always looking for new ventures in which to expand and we have seen how successful boutique sales can be.

"This will be a unique sale in the Goffs calendar and Yorton’s beautiful setting provide the perfect venue for this exciting new venture."
