A trio of recent winners have been added to the Goffs Champion Sale, which will take place before racing at Leopardstown on Saturday.
The three lots join the six previously announced entries to complete a nine-strong line-up in which recent form is in strong supply. The latest additions are:
- Lot 7: Check My Pulse, a two-year-old son of Dragon Pulse out of a sister to Beaver Patrol who made his second racecourse appearance a winning one when landing a 6½f Listowel maiden by a length and a half on Monday. After his win trainer Andrew Slattery said: "He had been working well. He's a big horse and he'll improve."
- Lot 8: Dark Pursuit, a two-year-old gelding by Pastoral Pursuits offered by Michael O'Callaghan Racing. He made a winning appearance in a 14-runner maiden over 7f at Down Royal on Friday, after which the Racing Post analysis read: "Despite his inexperience, he ran straight and hugged the inside rail the whole way, showing a good attitude and belying his inexperience."
- Lot 9: Shatharaat, a three-year-old son of Kodiac consigned by Andy Oliver's Stragrane House Stables. This £150,000 breeze-up purchase by Shadwell showed marked improvement on his debut for Oliver when readily landing a 15-runner 7 furlong maiden at Listowel on Monday on only his second start.
All horses will be offered with pre-sale vetting and will be available for inspection prior to the sale in the saddling area at Leopardstown. The full catalogue including pedigrees, conformation and race footage is available to view here.
