Kingston Hill - the champion two-year-old colt in Europe in 2013 and St Leger winner a year later - supplied his first winner at stud when Galador made a winning debut in a 6f maiden at Milan.

The February-foaled colt, purchased by Antonio Peraino for €3,200 at Goffs last November and ridden by Antonio Fresu, finished half a length clear of the Sakhee's Secret colt Cool And Dry.

Kingston Hill won all three of his starts as a juvenile, stringing together wins in a September maiden at Newbury, the Group 3 Autumn Stakes at Newmarket and the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, when he pulled clear of the Aidan O'Brien-trained Johann Strauss.

The son of Mastercraftsman ran eighth to Night Of Thunder in the 2,000 Guineas on his seasonal reappearance, before a close second to Australia in the Derby. Classic honours came his way in the St Leger, before a fourth-place finish behind Treve in the Arc.

Available to breeders at a €5,000 fee at Coolmore Stud in Ireland, Kingston Hill's only previous runner has been the Dundalk third St George's Head.

His highest priced progeny was a filly out of the Sadler's Wells mare Inchiri, hammered down to Prime Equestrian for 60,000gns at Book 1 at last year's Tattersalls October Sale.
