Osarus Breeze-Up Sale to feature 13 juveniles from Ecurie Yann Creff
A total of 77 lots listed for the La Teste April Breeze-Up Sale
The catalogue for the Osarus Breeze Up sale, which takes place at La Teste racecourse on April 9, will comprise of 77 lots this year, 68 of whom are eligible for French owners' premiums.
Breezing will take place the day before the sale from 2.30pm and can be viewed live at www.francesire.com. Individual videos will also be available after the breeze at www.osarus.com.
A total of 55 sires are represented including Le Havre, Wootton Bassett and Tamayuz, while among the first-crop stallions with progeny on offer are Dariyan, Goken, Marcel, Martinborough, Marcel, Scissor Kick (first European juveniles), Shalaa and Vadamos.
The largest consignment comes from Ecurie Yann Creff, with 13 lots, including:
- Lot 15, an Epaulette half-brother to Stargaze (winner at two and placed third in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes) and grandson to July Cup third Dafayna
- 19, a Dutch Art colt, a full-brother to the Listed Guiborough Stakes winner Zarwaan and grandson to Del Mar Oaks winner Dublino
- 29, a Le Havre colt, second foal of the Listed-placed mare Galaxe
- 30, a colt by Intello and Galaxie Des Sables (winner at two and Listed placed)
- 45, a filly by Maxios out of the Listed-placed mare Madonna
- 48, a Power filly out of a half-sister to sire Olympic Glory
- 57, a filly by Kendargent out of a half-sister to Meneas, from the family of Intello
Other double-figure drafts include the 12 on offer from Ecurie la Frenee and the ten listed for sale by Haras de Saint-Arnoult.
La Teste Breeze up sale graduates have produced good results on the track with the like of Golconda, winner of two juvenile races and second in the Listed Prix Saraca; Joe Francais, winner of three races
including the Class 1 Prix de Pauillac at Bordeaux, and placed in the Group 3 Prix Noailles; and Veronesi, winner of three races including the Class 1 Prix de Larchant at Fontainebleau and placed in the Group 2 Prix Niel; Hayzum, a winner at two at Longchamp.
Other graduates of the sale include the Qatar Oaks heroine Mango Tango and Auteuil Grade 1 hurdle winner Capivari.
