Watch as Julian Dollar talks us through Newsells' Book 1 lots
The stud's Dubawi colt out of Danedream set to cause fireworks
Racing Post recently paid a visit to Newsells Park Stud in Hertfordshire to view some of the operation's blueblooded lots for the coming Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and ask general manager Julian Dollar about the draft.
Julian told us all about the Dubawi colt out of Danedream, the first foal or yearling out of a female Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner to go under the hammer since My Typhoon, a filly by Giant's Causeway out of Urban Sea, sold for 1,800,000gns in 2002.
We also got the lowdown on some of the other potential stars of the Newsells Park draft at Park Paddocks.
The stage looks set for the stud to enjoy another outstanding sale at Newmarket, having sold the record-priced yearling colt in Europe, Sir Isaac Newton, for 3,600,000gns, and the Dubawi filly who topped Book 1 in 2015 at 2,100,000gns.
