Half-sister to Cachet among the Tattersalls Online December Sale entries
Farhh mare Sophie is in foal to Aclaim and will be sold by Higher Eastington
A half-sister to this year's 1,000 Guineas winner Cachet is among the 74 lots scheduled to sell at the Tattersalls Online December Sale next week.
Sophie, a daughter of Darley's proven top-class sire Farhh, is in foal to Cachet's sire Aclaim and is therefore carrying a three-parts sibling to the Newmarket Classic winner. Consigned as lot 85, the four-year-old will be sold by Higher Eastington Stables.
Another highlight of the catalogue is a breeding right in Whitsbury Manor Stud's brilliant first-season sire Havana Grey (84), the sire of 13 black-type performers in his first crop including Group winners Rumstar, Eddie's Boy and Lady Hollywood.
Breeding rights in another promising first-season sire Cracksman (83) - the sire of two black-type winners including Italian Group 2 scorer Aloa - as well as fellow Darley sires Profitable (79), Territories (81) and Ribchester (80) are also up for grabs.
A 1/50th stallion share in Almanzor will also be offered. Haras d'Etreham's European champion and son of Wootton Bassett is the sire of six black-type winners including Group 1 winner Manzoice, who struck in the Victoria Derby at Flemington in October.
Other exciting offerings include Hobby Horse Stud's Casuarina (17), a Sea The Moon full-sister to Caulfield Cup winner Durston in foal to Study Of Man, and Lowther Stakes winner Infamous Angel (22), the dam of five winners and another in foal to Aclaim. She will be sold by Silfield Bloodstock.
French trainer Jerome Reynier offers Group 3 winner National Service (49), while leading consignors with lots in the auction include Barton Sales, Blue Diamond Stud and Jamie Railton.
Prospective buyers are required to register to log on and join the sale ahead of the commencement of bidding from 12 noon on Wednesday, December 14. Bidding is scheduled to close from 12 noon the following day.
