The latest intake of trainees for the prestigious Godolphin Flying Start programme have been unveiled, with the 12-strong group comprised of six men and six women from Australia, Britain, France, Ireland and the US.

The scholarship is designed to provide trainees with first-hand experience of management and leadership in the thoroughbred industry, with the course taking in phases in Britain, Ireland, the US, Australia and Dubai.

Over half of past Godolphin Flying Start graduates have gone on to become managers, chief executives or business founders, and are based across five continents, working in areas such as media, racing, breeding, bloodstock, sales, consultancy, veterinary and marketing.

The course is accredited by University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Business School as a Graduate Certificate in Management.
